The literature on the history of veterinary medicine is brought together in this database which has been compiled by A.H.H.M. Mathijsen on behalf of the World Association for the History of Veterinary Medicine (WAHVM). The VETHIST database contains 15.150 references to books, periodical articles and dissertations, published from the end of the 18th century onwards. It will be updated regularly.
